Quote-Unquote
"It is needless to comment that print making is basically a part of painting in general. Painting being the major field of my expression, I took up print making when I was in Calcutta and intensified my interest in abstract expression through black and white. I tried to express my experience of the multi-faceted complex life of Calcutta.

Having been in Santiniketan for years, the natural surroundings of the place reflects in my works at present through a new personal vision. Definitely I hold fast to some themes in my recent works but, at the same time, I do not allow them to become overgrown in details. I wish to be closer to our Company School predecessor in so far as the simplicity, tone, line, stroke, space and colours are concerned."
