"My early works were the outcome of my pain at the thought that I would have to leave this beautiful world. I entitled them as 'Dreamers' because I have often seen the faces of men and women whose dreams have remained unfulfilled. The same theme or concept towards life is being continued in my works-with little variations, as in the 'Ikebana' series I have depicted my love for this world my living space where I would come back again and again to see my belongings.
Now the same concept brought me to 'Maya'. This world of ours is nothing but 'Maya' which would bring my soul often to places I had loved and adored relentlessly as I shall not be able to forget them even after leaving this mortal world 'Maya' is so powerful, That it will not let me forget anything of this and the memories I carry within me which continues, roaming through past, present and future, mood. and modes change, history repeats itself men come to create Maya through my paintings." |
