"In my day to day life I come across a myriad of people of varied characters, objects and events. Sometimes, some such people or objects or events compel me to react. My feelings are deeply stirred, imagination is set free; ideas germinate and flourish; my inner self craves for expression through forms. In the meantime, the perceived reality is metamorphosed in the sanctuary of my inner self. The form gets transformed. I try to translate these ideated forms into plastic forms. I start experimenting with material - clay, wood, stone, bronze, fibre or mixed media - to find the appropriate vehicle for a particular idea. At present mixed media respond best to my ideas.
Though I seek forms in nature, I do not mean to say that I search for them in landscapes. I try to embody joys and sorrows, trials and tribulations of human beings and of other living beings, the rhythm of life. The abstract is concretised in my sculpted forms."
