The Sai International Centre and School on Human Values has been set up in accordance with the desire of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Sri Sathya Sai has declared that it is his life mission to lift the human consciousness around the globe, to a higher level, so that all human beings cherish and nurture the five fundamental values of Truth, Dharma, Love, Peace and Non-violence. He has set up the Sri Sathya Sai organization in order to help him in his mission. A Central Trust overseas the affairs of the organization. The trust has set up a large number of educational, medical and social service organizations in different parts of the world.

While the primary centre of dissemination in India would continue to be in Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, District Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh where Sri Sathya Sai mostly lives; New Delhi being the capital of India would also have a place of pride in the new scheme of things.
