The gist of Vedanta is that everything in the seen universe is a temporary manifestation of the ONE eternal and infinite Reality with the given hundred different names like God, etc. It is Vedanta that inspired scientist and philosophers like Albert Einstein, Fred Hoyle, Erwin Schrodinger, David Bohm, Fritjord Capra, Max Muller, Emerson and others in converting physics into metaphysics through advances in quantum physics and microbiology.

The latest scientific finding is that the seen universe was manifested not by the Big Bang but Big Hummm. In Vedanta it is described as Aummm.
