Q. Who is a person of character?
A. A person who practices the five basic values of Truth, Love, Righteous Conduct,Non-Violence and Peace is a person of character.

Q. Why is it useful to study the lives of great men and women?
A.

Human beings often suffer from a sense of inadequacy. Someone thinks he has a handicap because he is born in a poor family. He studies the life of Abraham Lincoln and learns how it is possible to be great without being rich. Another person feels she is disadvantaged because she is blind. She can read the life story of Helen Keller and be inspired.

As H.W.Longfellow says:
"Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime
And departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time.
"
