Wing may have to be divided into four divisions;
the Extension Division, the Training Division, the
Publications Division and the Library & Documentation
Centre. |
1. Extension Division |
| Constitution:
This could consist of an Extension Officer,
assisted by two
Assistants. |
| Functions:
The Division may perform the following tasks: |
ü
Help the academic divisions in organizing conferences,
seminars, workshops, meetings, dialogues
etc and take on the functions of event management.
ü
Prepare and mount exhibitions on the Sai teachings,
Inter-faith Dialogue, Science and Spirituality,
Human Values and the other subjects being dealt
with in the Centre.
ü
Organize monthly lectures.
ü
Organize occasional lectures by eminent persons.
ü
Liaise with press and the electronic media. |
2. Training
Division |
| Constitution:
This could consist of a Training Officer and
two training Assistants |
| Functions:
This Division could take up the following tasks: |
ü
Run and organize the normal training programmes
for different sections of society.
ü
Organize special training programmes for master
trainers, teacher educators, opinion leaders
etc.
ü
Prepare training material for wider propagation
among other training institutions. |
3.Publications Division |
| Constitution:
This could consist of a Publications Officer,
an Editor and two Assistants. |
| Functions:
It could perform the following tasks: |
ü
Organize publication of books by the Centre
ü
Bring out reports on proceedings of conferences,
seminars, workshops, dialogues etc for wider dissemination
ü
Publish a regular journal for the Centre
ü
Bring out occasional publications on different subjects
being dealt with by the academic wing |
4.Library
and Documentation Centre |
| Constitution:
This center could have a Librarian, two
Library Assistants and two Library Attendants. |
| Functions:
The center would perform the following tasks; |
ü
Acquire and maintain books, publications, journals,
monographs and other literature on Human Values,
Sai Philosophy, Vedantic Thoughts, Comparative Studies
on Major Religions, Science and
Spirituality and other subjects dealt with at the
center
ü
Bring out annotated bibliographies on these subjects
from time to time
ü
Provide facilities to Fellows, Scholars-in-Residence
and others desirous of pursuing research on the
above subjects. |
